We provide design and permit application services for new basement apartments and garden suites. An existing finished or unfinished basement can be altered and converted into a compliant secondary suite and used as a self-contained dwelling unit for a family member or rented for additional income. Any associated design work for the secondary suite such as load bearing wall removal, HVAC alterations or a new below grade or side entrance work can be included in the same permit application to expedite the process.
